A patient presented to our rooms from her general dentist. Investigation revealed loose teeth and a totally failing dentition.The patients request a set of fixed teeth, period. She wanted a set of teeth that would not come out as she had a psychological issue with removable dentures.
My team and I planned a set of 6 dental implants for the upper jaw as well as 6 for the lower jaw. The dental implants were placed under conscious sedation. In the interim the patient wore a denture. After a suitable healing period the dental implants were used to support a fixed set of teeth.
It was amazing to see the plan come to life. This treatment plan was a success.
