A patient presented to our rooms requesting dental implants.Examination revealed a full upper denture and a partial lower denture. The few remaining lower teeth were in a terrible condition. The solution was to remove the existing lower teeth and place immediate dental implants with teeth 24 hours later. The patient was surprised that the teeth were going to be so soon. Following surgery and the prosthodontic workup the teeth were placed 24 hours later. The patient was ecstatic as the teeth were fixed onto the dental implants. "These are like my own teeth", said the patient. She has now decided to change her upper denture for an implant supported denture.
